ICCON 2025 | WILDLIFE INSTITUTE OF INDIA

Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun

Welcome to ICCON 2025

🏞️ Venue and Host City | ICCON 2025 | 25-27 June 2025

Our three-day event will be held at the Wildlife Institute of India (WII), a premier institution for wildlife research, training, and capacity building in India. Established in 1982, WII is nestled within a lush 180-acre forested campus on the foothills of the Himalayas, offering an immersive and serene environment ideal for learning, collaboration, and conservation dialogue.

The WII campus features a modern auditorium, training halls, guest accommodation, and well-equipped laboratories, making it an ideal venue for hosting a multidisciplinary international conference like ICCON 2025. Surrounded by nature and biodiversity, the setting complements the very heart of the conference’s mission.

Dehradun, the capital city of Uttarakhand, is one of India’s most picturesque and historically rich cities. Located in the Doon Valley and flanked by the Shivalik Hills and the majestic Himalayas, Dehradun is home to a range of institutions of national importance, including the Forest Research Institute, Indian Military Academy, and Doon School. The city is known for its pleasant climate, green cover, and proximity to hill stations like Mussoorie and wildlife destinations like Rajaji National Park.

Dehradun’s culture blends colonial charm with Garhwali tradition.

We look forward to welcoming you to Dehradun and the Wildlife Institute of India for an engaging, thought-provoking, and nature-connected ICCON 2025 experience!
