This is a significant shortcoming in India's conservation efforts, and a dedicated platform for wildlife researchers and professionals is urgently needed.

This is why the Conservation Conference is so important - to bring together professionals and researchers in the field of wildlife research, conservation, and management in a collaborative effort to protect India's precious wildlife.

This biennial conference will be the first of its kind in the country, bringing together wildlife professionals, researchers, managers, conservationists, and policymakers under one roof. The outputs of this platform will serve as policy briefs, offering invaluable insights into the dos and don'ts of different issues of wildlife conservation. These knowledge documents can then be used to disseminate knowledge and integrate wildlife conservation with sustainable development, which is crucial in today's world.
